• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello to everyone! I met a couple from Kansas city at the Cracker Barrel in St Joseph, MO., who were on their way with some relatives on a Harley and a Trike, headed to Yellowstone. We parked along side of their Silver Can-Am and the wife was just eye balling it up one side and down the other. She has a Gold Wing but I am the driver. Long story short, we started a conversation after eating and the young lady invited my passenger (owner of Wing of which I'm driver) to climb on their Spyder. This all came about because my passenger is 4'11" and has no desire to be a passenger any longer. I think she has finally found a mate that she fits and can handle. I do want to thank that couple for their allowing so readily, my wife, to climb up and try it out. Shes hooked and were shopping! Thanks again to this couple whose names I forget.:dontknow:Sorry!

welcome
That is a nice story and representative of the spyder community. I do not have a spyder yet but I have been on this forum for about three weeks and everybody is so helpful. I hope you find a nice spyder and enjoy long rides together.

Sounds familiar. My wife is 5'2" and even scooters were too wide and tall for her. She was tired of being a passenger...and I was more tired! Found the Spyder on the Web, looked at one that day, bought one the next week, happy ever after. Sixteen month now. Keeps up with my Beemer just fine, and occasionally pushes me in the curves. Your wife is gonna love one of these!
