• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Luggage rack from Big Bike Parts for RT

Looks good but will it really hold much, I wonder how much weight you could safely put on it without possible damage to the trunk lid?

That is very nicely-styled. I'd bolt in onto mine if it weren't for the vinyl graphics that'd have to be sacrificed...

Looks really nice, folks, but be careful. I had one similar on a GoldWing. Really liked it, but myself and others had a problem with cracks spreading from the drilled holes needed for installation. Then again, spider webbing on a Spyder might not look too bad! :)

Two things to be careful with one overall weight will over time crack the top and if you open the top and it slams shut it could crack so be careful closing it.

Darn! I just bought a 622 trailer to carry that extra 10 pounds of gear. Maybe I could take the trailer back and get the rack.

Diamond R, 1 of our vendors, sells a very nice luggage rack for the rt. Either spider in web or plain. Not cheap - $259.00 - $279.00 plus an additional $85.00 if you want it in chrome.:yikes: Got the last 1 they had at Lamonsters BBQ last year. Support our vendors!!!
