• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Welcome. When you approach a car coming out of a side road, look at their front wheel, not the driver. If that wheel moves one inch, prepare to stop as they may pull out on you. The same with vehicles coming toward you and slowing some....watch their wheels.

Post what kind of Spyder you have. It makes it easier for other's to give good advice to you because the is one of the best places to get excellent advice and ideas. Ride safe.

Pay attention to this lady, she knows what she's talking about. Have fun and remember, It's the journey, not the destination that makes riding a way of life.

Hi, Blue Devil: You're asking this question in the right place.
It's a valuable resource for SPYDER Riders. I got my 2011
RT-S SE-5 last June, and only have 2,500 miles on it because of a VERY short summer last year.
The things to watch are: tire pressure, oil level, rear suspension air pressure, and service intervals. After the 600 mile break-in period, the RT's "sweet spot" seems to be between 5,000 and 6,000 RPM in 5th gear. That's where you'll find the best mileage and power. It may take a while, and a lot of practice to get the hang of the steering, but it will come. Be patient, and PRACTICE, PRACTICE,PRACTICE.
Good luck, and ride safe.

Welcome I am new here as well, but this is the best forum with the greatest people ever... I purchased new so I bought the additional 3 year warranty and 3 year maintenance contract. There is some deals on the warranty and well worth the money. I have added the Utophia backrest, even though I realize I may end up with a Corbin down the road. I also have the real carbon fiber dash kit, HTM brake light installed yesterday, ISCI cup holder ordered, and probably will order floorboards today.

There are a lot of ideas for mods and I like everyone's taste... Jump in and have 'FUN' with your new Roadster...
