• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Felt an immediate improvement In the ride quality! The rear is much more firm, much less side to side movement. Great tire, awesome price, installed. Thanks to Derick, And Ron from Netzley Tire! Tom :trike:

How many miles did you get on the OEM?

3500 on the crapenda. Not down to the wear bars yet in the center. Might have been good for another 1000-1500 miles. The out side looked brand new. Will be doing a trip next month of 1000 miles so I played it safe. Tom :trike:

Congrats on the Kumho rear tire

We put the Kumho Ecsta AST on the rear about 2000 miles ago and it still looks like new. We'll have to compare notes on how long they last as many of us have them now. I agree that ride quality is good with this tire!

I did "squeeze" 8000 miles out of my crapenda OEM rear tire!!!! :opps::opps::opps::opps: It looked like a "slick" in the middle and still had good tread on the edges -- what a "crapenda" tire!

just did measurements on my oe kendas, with a little over 4k on them i have 8/32" left. I would expect that will give me 10k on the tires before i change them. Just a note, i don't wait until they are bald or i see steel.

Good to hear..!!

Glad you are pleased with this tire. Keep folks informed on it's performance for you as I hear good and not so good reviews on them....

I have about 1500 miles on my Kumho Ecsta AST . . . and have ridden it in just about every possible situation, twisties, highway, byway, pouring rain and pouring rain with gusting crosswinds. It sticks to the road and does a great job. I am very happy with it. :firstplace:
