• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New guy here

:welcome:Enjoy your new ride, but be very careful, once the "Farckling Bug" bites, it's all down hill from there!

Welcome, Headwrench !!!! Best wishes for you and your new ride !!!
You've got some great places to go in Ohio.
I spent a few days a couple of weeks ago in the Walnut Creek area. Wished I had my Spyder, but I had 4 wheels instead. Had to carry some stuff to Michigan afterwards.
I will be back to OHIO !!

Welcome to the forum, and to the Spyder RT. As you found out, it's easy to develop a "bike crush" on these things once you've ridden one a few miles.

I loved your clip about keeping your "knees in the breeze". You followed the same move I made from a Yamaha Venture a couple of years back - and for the very same reason. Was it a Royal Star Venture? Those things are one heavy bike. Here is a picture of my last ride.... My son rides it now and loves it.
