• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not sure if anyone has posted this before

Perhaps with all the threads coming in on the New 2014 RT (3 Cylinder model) it may be worth considering creating a new section
for this model
I know it can sit under the existing RT Section but some of the threads only concern the 2014 Model and not the RT's 2010-2013 ones
It maybe easier for existing 2014 Owners to find information and would also allow any new owners to view new threads as they come on line and help with any decison to upgrade etc

:thumbup: I agree. :yes:

:shocked: I would think that we're all capable of knowing what's under the Plastic as soon as a model year is mentioned...
We didn't break out the 991-engined RS models when BRP phased out the 990s...

I like the idea of a separate forum section for the 2014 RT's. It is a horse of a different color.

Either way the site goes is okay with me though. I am always hooked up to what's new and read the forum enough that I don't think I miss very much. It do think it would be helpful to those who are looking for specific information on the 2014 RT's.

:popcorn::popcorn: and we will see what happens. :thumbup:

Let's see..!!

we have a very informed administrator here who will no doubt see the need to spin off the 2014 RT or not. Time will tell and who knows if the RT will be the only model using the triple engine in the future...:thumbup:

A good example of the need are the recent ones about oil leaks, and now a transmission slipping; all of which we need to stay informed of. Not so easy unless one reads every single thread, everyday, and even then might miss out on useful information.

This same data will be useful to potential buyers trying to make up their minds.

Joe,
Happy Friday!! :yes::ohyea::yes:
Any riding plans for the weekend, or are you glued to the Super Bowl coverage??
