• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nice Ride!!!

I'm looking at a mag-silver F3-S SM6 almost like yours. I see you have the optional Fox remote reservoir rear shock. Maybe that would be worth looking into to prevent bottoming out when riding two-up with my wife. Looks like you've got a Blue Ridge windshield too. Very nice!!

At first I thought you . . .

. . . had taken my F3.

Congratulations on getting your Spyder home.

Is that the BRP mono seat cowl on the bike? That looks different than the online pictures. I really consider one - what do you think of it?

Also, bags are a big topic right now, having them in hand, what do you think of those?

Thanks,
Tom

its the urban rack which, I like it has storage in it. My cross country bags haven't come in yet.

yes I upgraded the rear and front shocks. Still waiting on the Akrapovic straight shot silencer, saddlebags, fog lights and heated grips.

Please explain the conditions to which the rear suspension bottomed out.... Thx

Don't Have One Yet

I was just assuming (my bad) that the suspension upgrade might help with riding with the extra weight of a passenger aboard. Being as I have absolutely no experience with the F3 it's probably unwise to make any kind of assumption. My current ride, a 2012 Victory Cross Country has an air shock to add preload for carrying extra weight. I should probably just keep a low profile until I can actually own one. Lesson leaned.

Congrats.

What made you go with the shock upgrade out the gate? As far as I've read, you are the first one with the upgrades all the way around...Did you have many miles in an F3 before adding those to give us a good comparison/review? I'm real curious about that rear shock myself.

Thats good because the suspension bottoming out would be a deal breaker for me...

Haven't even got to ride it yet on the road. Just wanted to get all upgrades now that I wanted. Still snow on ground here. Only 2 tenths of a mile on it from dealer shop into my trailer and back off into my garage. Hope to have it out late this week or maybe next week, if weather permits.

Snow? What is that? :joke:
