• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. My 2023 F3, purchased in early March, displayed Transmission Fault and Limp Home, along with several codes. Less than 1500 miles. Turns out to be a failed Speed Sensor. Part on order.

UPDATE - Picked up from shop this afternoon. Rode home in 116° heat. Like new again. Turn around time was 16 days.

Hope they get you back on the road quickly.

This is my second Spyder, and I also have a Ryker Rally. “back on the road quickly” is not a term I would associate with Can Am repairs. Parts seem to always need ordering. You would think by now that some parts would be stocked, but that has yet to be the case.

I feal your pain there, but they don't stock parts like that anymore, because some of them would just collect dust and sit there, not to mention cost them money! But they should have a decent turn around on orders, I hope! My sled dealer does!

Mine is also showing that “Transmission Failure” warning along with a !. Put it in gear and it goes away.

Just returned form 90 mile mountain ride in the Smokies. Bike shifted and ran fine. ‘22 F3S with 2,300 miles on it after this ride. Bike shifts fine. In August, after I return home, will let a dealer look at it.

And they would collect dust because dealers don't typically have a very sophisticated ordering system and rely on being totally reactive and not proactive, meaning that they wait for a request and keep no real history on what is being sold. If they replaced 8 sensors a year, then the average monthly usage would be about 1.5 per month, so it would be beneficial to have 2 in stock at all times.

They likely don't have an automated way to order parts (auto order when quantity is low) or a way to watch trends to adjust stock ordering as needed.

My dealer is no exception, but they get parts in a few days. Getting them to call you when it's in AND scheduling the repair is something entirely different.

I'll also add - threads like this make me glad I bought an extended warranty.
