New England Trip

[Roadster Renovations]

Planning a New England trip next month (vermont, maine, etc.) and we are trying to figure the optimal time for the fall leaves. We want to hit it where it has not gotten so cold yet, but enough to have some good color! Anybody ever done that route and an give some pointers? Also will be pulling a trailer.

I would say mid September to mid October. It will be chilly, though, so dress warm. I've lived in Vermont and New Hampshire most of my life, and we just take the changing leaves for granted...... (knowing what's coming... ) Hope you have a great trip

A note..!!

try to get there before the start falling...leaves can be slippery and deadly when wet...moved from conn. and had some close calls. But you will see some amazing sights..enjoy..!! :thumbup:

I am Vermonter all of my life, I would suggest end of Sept. to Columbus day week-end is a good time, for Fall Foliage, dress warm, sometimes we have a warm spell during that time. Also, it varys. Deanna777

:agree: Go up to Vermont / Northern NH every year on the last week of Sept / first week of October
