• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NEW DRIVE BELT DESIGN COMPARISON F3 vs ST

The bodywork won't begin to allow it... Sorry!
Just for starters; where would you hide that 2nd radiator? :dontknow:

:D More than half of the fun, is in the figurin'!
There's always the possibility of a turbocharger...

And they DO fit!

That I also had in mind. I had several turbo experts that said they could help me create a Turbo setup. Looks like thats going to be my cheapest and less headache route.

Buy a 2014/15 RT, remove all the Tupperware from the rear and replace it with RS/ST parts, I believe the frame etc is the same so it would be a matter of working out how to fit the RS/ST parts, you would then have an RST Limited Edition :)

My belt's still in perfect shape. I only have 3k miles. Im just very picky and like to spend money at times. But when I felt the thickness and different texture on the F3, I started to wonder if a stronger belt would allow a stronger tension to prevent belt vibration. Although I can spend $295 for the belt pulley mod. That might end up being my next add on. :ohyea:

If you're worried about the belt, my 2008 GS will smoke the tires off. That seems to be about as bad as you can get on the belt. Dont worry about it, just ride.

New Belt?

I have a few questions:

  1. IF the new belt is stronger, will they make a replacement for the RS, ST, and RT belts with the new material?
  2. If you want a stronger belt, would one of the after market Kevlar belts be a good choice?
  3. How much better are Kevlar belts?
  4. Should I replace my stock belt with a Kevlar belt?
