Tighter with the new springs and grabbing earlier
Not sure if you have it assembled yet. Some tips on clutch replacement.
Soak the fiber plates in oil overnight before installing so they do not glaze and last longer.
Also, stack the steel plates so the sharp edge faces inward allowing smoother and consistant release of all the plates.

Did you just replace the clutch plate and springs?
Was the replacement clutch an OEM one or an aftermarket one?
