• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks to NMN... ordered the black/smoke CHAD yesterday and it was on my doorstep when I got home this evening. Great service :2thumbs:

It's on and looks great... pics to follow, just too dark out now.

Can't wait to test out the settings in the a.m. :ohyea:

Well,...........what's the verdict?:dontknow:

Great... Different. Jury's still not out ;)

I went to Dottie's Diner in Woodbury this morning to pick up donuts for the kids.

With the CHAD fully upright, I'm (barely) catching the wind at the top of my helmet, not bad; I'm considering the risers to move my @ss back a bit, which will provide complete protection.

Can ride with visor all the way up. Wind noise has increased a bit.

Stable at 105. Note, I bought nylon washers at Lowes and placed them on both sides of the rubber washers where they meet the metal (center of bracket) to alleviate them sticking from the heat.

Feels like there's more air being directed toward the shins & feet. Noticed the :spyder: running at 3-4 bars this morning w/the humidity between 45-55 mph. More riding needed to confirm.

Overall... I like it.

Well,...........what's the verdict?:dontknow:

Just got back from a 50 mile loop and was getting pretty nervous that I made a BIG mistake. After a few adjustments and tests up the highway, the jury's out :2thumbs:

I'm 6'2", no risers on bars, w/a BRP Comfort Seat, and a Scorpion 1000 helmet.

All the settings at 70-80 mph were way too noisy and the turbulence created felt very awkward, EXCEPT this setting...

CHAD positioned at the lowest setting (down) and pulled all the way back (toward me) is awesome.

Why? - (1) wind noise was very low, (2) no turbulence, and (3) with the visor up, and built in goggles down, there was no wind coming under the goggles to cause my eyes to tear at 80. A big problem with the sport shield.

I'm ready for Gatlinburg

My setting also. I think it angles the windshield just right to catch air and toss it over your head.
