• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

& can't wait for Spring to use it. It weighs only 250# empty and I can set-up and close it without help. I just hope I don't have to do so in a wind storm!

Awesome

That looks like it's going to be lots of fun. What is the brand and where did you get it? I'm interested in purchasing one also.

It's a Leesure-Lite (http://www.leesurelite.com). They're made in BC, but I bought mine used from some folks in Hutchison, Kan., who had advertised it on Craig's List. Hutch is about 100 miles from where I live. The seller bought it new in May 2015 and only used it a few times before they decided to get a small motorhome. So I got a good deal on a basically new trailer.

The other one I considered is the Mini-mate (http://www.kompactkamptrailers.com), but the Leesure-Lite looked easier to set up and is a bit roomier.

Super, Thanks! I couldn't quite make out the name on the side. I just checked out the web site and will be looking into this more over the winter.

That's pretty sweet. I like the way it looks like the "lid" kind of becomes the floor in a way.

Unrelated..... I need to get down and meet you some day. You have a ton of Spyder sense.

:agree: :2thumbs:
That looks just SUPER!! :D
Are you going to bring it to Missouri in April?? :dontknow:

No. I can get to Springfield in 1 day and will stay at the BW for the event. I plan to use the camper to save money during my Spyder travels, though. It will save a lot when I have a long way to go and need overnight accommodations several times during the trip. But I plan to have hotels at my destinations - unless there's a good campground very close to the event-action.

CAMPER

:congrats:......Patti, I know you aren't bringing it to Spyderfest. I wonder if they will have the camping available at the Fairgrounds again this year.:yes::yes:.......The people who camped said it was great .....Mike

I haven't heard about the camping arrangements for the next SF. I'm sure lots of folks would like to park their RVs at the fairground again. If I had one, that's what I'd do.

Very nice Patti, great looking rig.

For those considering tent campers, consider also:

Will be picking mine up in March next year when I can handle an hours ride south to Elkhart, In.

I look forward to not staying in motels and having the freedom to travel that your own home on wheels gives you.

Nice pics, Ronsam. I am planning on getting a truck box or something to put in a cooler rack on the tongue, like you've done. You have a lot of super-framing to carry some toys. Is that difficult to attach and detach when using the tent?

Tente trailer

No very simple , 2 minutes. I have the tent trailer for 5 years and this is a very good tent trailer

Congrats on the camper, looks great and you will love it. It is an awesome way to vacation! Just be aware that you will be the center of attention at every campground you go to. The combination of the Spyder and the camper will have you talking to a lot of great people.
