• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Brake Pads are Great

I could actually sneak up on you and you wouldn't know it. The 3rd generation brake pads are so quiet that dogs no longer howl when I hit the brakes.

I had had the 12,000 mile service done and the service guy said that I only had 20% left on the rear pad and 30% on the front. Decided to change them myself (hubby helped). Come to find out they exaggerated the amount of wear  it was more like I had 70 to 80% left. That said I am still glad that I changed them just to get rid of the squealing.

The rear pads included new caliper bolts but for some reason they don't include them with the fronts. So save yourself a trip to the hardware store and buy new bolts before you tear it apart.
