• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'd suggest contacting Finless Bob or MC Dave (SL SPonsor) about the headset.
Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the Spyder community.

Welcome, welcome 👍

Soon...You will be on the road and will send along the needed picture of your new ryde... enjoy it and the miles of smiles, rock star etc.
as to the head set can't help but some folks here will...

If it's a wired headset, it will not work unless you have the dealer install the "wired intercom" harness. The GoldWing headsets are a 5 pin style and the BRP headsets are 7 pin style, so your GW headsets will not work. :congrats:on the new bike and good luck. Mac:doorag:

What does the wired intercom harness consist of ?

To be honest, I did not see the harness when the dealer got it in for the install, because when we ordered our Spyder we had a bunch of stuff added to the deal (tow bar, c.b., etc.) and we did not pick it up until everything was installed and the bike was ready for delivery. I imagine it consists of a module and wire loom with plugs for the helmet headsets. You would be lucky if your dealer can even get a wired system since everything is "Bluetoothed" nowadays. Good Luck! Mac:doorag:
