There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. New Battery - Ride Report

So I did something stupid and killed my battery awhile back, and ended up replacing the original battery with a new battery from Batteries Plus.
The new battery took awhile to charge using the Battery Tender Jr that I have, but it was finally showing a full charge.

I left the Spyder disconnected from the charger last night, and today took it for a ride. The Spyder started right up with no hesitation.

I live a couple miles Northwest of town, and there's a sporting goods store Southeast of town, I plotted a route on my iPhone using Apple Maps with no freeways, and drove the 14 miles to the store, turned around in their parking lot and and told Apple Carplay to take me Home. Apple Carplay was giving me directions the whole route, both showing on the screen of my Spyder and audible directions in the headset in my helmet.

Weather.com says it's going to rain through the middle of next week, and then will be dry for a few days.
So I'm going to plug the Spyder back into the Battery Tender Jr until the weather clears up.

Racoon, you probably did yourself a favor by leaving the key on and deciding to replace that under powered sub-standard battery. A poor battery puts strain on the bikes charging system.

Good Luck with your replacement battery. Bill

Purchased my 2024 Spyder RTL 2/16/2024. Rode Saturday 12/28/24 and the cheap Haijiu battery died at a gas station an hour from home. Got the bike to start using a battery pack and drove it to the dealer who told me the battery warranty is only six months.
So I called Battery+ here in Lakeland, FL and gave the description in your post. They tell me they don't have it in stock and don't carry the Xtreme batteries. At this point I'm a little than more disappointed with Can Am for putting this piece of crap battery in my bike.

So I went to the BatteriesPlus+ website (https://www.batteriesplus.com) changed the "location" from where I live to Lakeland, Florida and then searched for a battery for a 2022 Spyder RTL -- one of the things I noticed when I visited the website for my area is that the don't have listings for a 2023 or 2024 Spyder, so I chose the newest year they listed, a 2022 which has the same engine as our 2024s.

It does show that the "Xtreme 24HL-BS 12V 350CCA AGM Powersport Battery" is apparently not in stock in Lakeland, but there is a listing for it, which means the person you talked to lied to you about them not carrying Xtreme batteries.

But there is a link under the "Pickup In-Store" that says "In Stock Nearby". It shows the battery as in stock with limited quantities at their stores in:

Winter Haven FL - 14.7 miles from the Lakeland store
Lake Wales, FL - 20.6 miles away
Brandon, FL - 22.4 miles

Well if you got home, you can research up a battery of your flavor and probably have it by end of week or so. I don't think "brand" is as important as getting a high enough rated battery. If you have a higher rated battery it doesn't have to work as hard to recharge, and your charge system don't either.

Sometimes the guy behind the counter has to think out of the box. You know when a good parts guy has got his hands dirty a few times and knows what's going on. That guy only knows what his computer tells him!!

Are BRP still fitting the cheaper battery in the current new Spyders or have they now gone back to the Yuasa YTX24HL-BS

@eddieshep999 all the 2024 and 2025 will have the crappy Haijlui batteries. My 2023 S2S also had a Haijlui and I replaced it with the one mentioned previously from Batteries plus. It was cranking slowly after 6 months. The 2024 S2S I made the dealer replace it at 1 month post delivery with a Yuasa 350 CCa while it was in the shop having the screen replaced as it went blank. It showed 10.5 V on cranking before dying...
Nuff said..
