There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

and now there telling I have to wait another month. I might give up with them.

I ordered one in May, and was told I wouldn't see it before September… Cx'd the order...
If you want one real bad there is one left (maybe) at Cycle Max of Ohio.

I ordered mine in the middel of May from Big Bike Parts.com. I did see read anywhere what the load restrictions are.

Big Bike Parts States 8/15 for us.
We were told specifically from Scott at Big Bike Parts we would have a lot of racks last week, it did not happen. We were very discouraged (using nice words) when that did not happen. I told them yesterday that they could explain to all of our customers about all of the dates that were promised then missed. We only passed on information that was given to us.
We are getting almost all of our racks that are on order the middle of August. There is a huge demand and only a very few came in to Big Bike Parts last week. We have had these on order with them since last February. I actually inspected one installed on a RT then, they look good.
We do not like to loose credibility with our customers and to be put in the middle of promises from a manufacturer. If you are one of our customers and have them on order right now it should be just a couple of weeks. Teresa has talked to a large number of people here on the Forum and does understand the frustration.

The sticker in the rear cargo compartment says 40 lbs. max. I don't know how serious a warning that is, but anything strapped to this rack would surely count towards that limit.
