• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Air Filter

Blue will work great since her Spyder is Blue and she is getting the intake first.:shemademe_smilie:

My Spyder is Red...and will be getting one later on...:p

Oh no do I have to stock Red ones too? I mean you can't see it once the cover is on...

Lol. Only for really OCD people. :roflblack:

Good news is that it looks like you have a lot of demand. :)

Yes, I was suprised at the response to this product.

Most of you PM'ed me your email but a few didn't. If I could get them to PM me their email that will make notifying easier. I plan on sending out emails to everyone on the list before letting the cat out of the bag on here :chat:.

If yamahog, spacetiger, SpydermanCT, 3 Wheel Addict and Pandy would PM me your email it would be a big help.

Thanks
JT

I don't see my name in there? :banghead:

Actually, I'm interested, but want to get a feeling from my dealer about this since my bike is new and still under warranty. :(

Did you take out the resonator too? Or just the air box? I have my wife's apart as I took the handle bars ad windshield bracket off to get black powder coated. The air box looks easy compared to the resonator...

Yes, your wife really wants her bike back too. Sixty degrees and my baby blue is in pieces in the garage. :helpsmilie:

PM sent thanks for the nudge I am so forgetful these days. :D :chat:

one question; Why do you have to take out the resonator? just to make more room?

Also I added the Virtka Trike air intake body panels so the top of the engine will be getting blasted by cool air all the time in pretty high volumes. I think most are over thinking the hot air thing as the air dam is removed the movement in terms of CFM will be quadrupled at least. thus not having superheated stale air. in addition I wrapped my headers with Heatshield Products high temp 1/4" insulation. I just needed few more stainless ties then will give some before and after temp readings with the IR heat gun right at the header after 10 minutes of idle.

Ohsnap, someone is in trouble. :yikes:

He is making up for it by letting me ride his. He spent several hours getting it apart so I could have black handlebars. I just wish BRP would have figured that part out a little sooner. They grey is too bright and his chrome reflects too much. He even let me take it out yesterday while he stayed home and washed my truck. Bonus points for him. :)

Basically, the resonator does nothing but take up room after you take the stock airbox out (as far as I know). I need the extra room for mounting some of the add-on electronic bits that we have planned.
