New additions!

It has been a long winter here in Maine and elsewhere. I got a Big Bikes Part small Shoe Chrome(?) back rest for Christmas and bought a used stock seat from a guy on Spyder Lovers for $200+-. Took the seat cover off and with my multi- tool and cut out the lumbar support foam back about 1.2 to 2 inches. Put the backrest on and the seat cover back on. I did not doctor the cover but did have to take it to an upholster to get it stapled back on because my hand held stapler wouldn't push the staples in. Looks fine and feels fine! added Rivco boards and heal/toe shifter. Got to try it down the road about 1/4 mile and back before yesterdays' snow! I like it. Seat, $200. Backrest, $185(?). Upholster, $20. $405 is a lot "thriftier" than $1000 +- for an after market seat:thumbup:

Putting pictures up is a question mark for my not tech savvy brain. How is it done?

When you're typing in the box where you put together your posts; there's a bunch of icons above where you're typing...
In the 2nd row, and about the 13th icon in... that one allows you to "insert image" (roll over it, and it'll tell you what it does...)
Once you click on it, the next box will have a spot in the lower right corner that says "basic uploader". Click on that...
Click on "Browse", and it'll let you go look around in your computer for the picture that you want to upload.
After you find the picture; click on it, and just follow the instructions! :thumbup:

Here goes nothing!!!

I will now try to upload some pics of additions! One other note; I took the harder foam pad out of my back rest and cut two pieces out of an egg crate foam rubber mattress and put them together egg crate sides in and put those in the back rest. It is much softer and doesn't feel like it is pushing me forward.

The lawn mower is the last of Christmas gifts to arrive. Picked it up Wednesday. Made more sense than buying 2-3 pull behind rotary mowers to tow behind the Spyderhyea:
