• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So, did it clear after engine startup? There's not a lot of history on the newer models of F3 or RT yet on this, yet. But historically, a weak battery will trigger the VCM to set a VSS fault code right at startup - either after you turn on the key, or right as you hit the start button - and then clear in a couple of seconds after engine start. Yes, I know that your battery is brand new. So, was mine. My experience was that my battery charged for over 8 hours the day I brought my 2023 home. I could hear it cranking slow. I can promise you that the dealerships do not do the required activation charge during PDI. So, get yourself a smart charger - not just a maintainer - if you don't have one, and put the battery on a 2 amp charge overnight and see if the problem goes away. And if it is only lightly ridden, use a maintainer between rides. Otherwise, you have a warranty issue. And of course it helps if you can get it to the dealership while the fault is actually active.

Yes, checked battery under load,, it was fine...... fault codes are UO416--C003A and C00BC...... some are dealing with the ABS,, so back to dealer...... new bike with 250 miles.........

Hasn't happened to me, but I remember several posts about the 20+ RT models experiencing similar symptoms you described. The posts were also upset/discouraged about the machines being new with issues. After getting it to the dealer, most discovered it to be a battery issue. As such, I hope yours is nothing more than that.

I found the problem.... The rear wheel speed sensor wire was short on install and broke wire in half just above the swingarm......
