There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. New 2020 ryker rally issue - uneven frame?

I just bought a new 2020 can am ryker rally edition couple days ago. I recently found out my frame is uneven. Left side frame is higher than right side. Is this the factory issue?

It looks pretty level to me, and even if it's not, it's likely only a tiny & inconsequential difference, possibly caused by some 'not exactly aligned' panels or bolted connections put together during manufacture, or maybe even just due to the crappy tires these things leave the factory on!! Are you positive that your wheels & tires are truly 'round' & even? :dontknow:

So, all that said, if you are still concerned, it's probably time to break out a spirit level & do some checking before getting too worried - are you sure that the ground your Ryker is sitting on is level; that your (front) tires & wheels are actually round & inflated to pretty close to the same pressure; and that your shocks & springs are also adjusted correctly & evenly? If all those things pan out correct & level, then try getting the spirit level in to compare those frame lugs/brackets shown in your pics are level; and I'd probably look to compare more spots too - both the left & right inner mounting points for the suspension arms; the lower ball joints on each side; across the width of the swing arm bushes; the rear wheel hub.... anywhere you can check that has points that should be level from one side to the other, the wider apart the better! And I wouldn't worry too much about any difference much less than saaayyy, one half of an inch over points 6 inches apart - anything less could simply be due to the poorly constructed Kenda tires... I've seen lumps in the tread & out of round bulges in them that were bigger than that!! :sour:

But seriously, I don't think there's anything there to worry about.

If you zoom in the picture the right side is .3mm lower.

.3mm = .0118, Yes, I can see that. But in the picture it looks like you're parked on sand. I suggest you park on level concrete and measure from concrete up to the frame near the foot pegs.

Yep.... Even if it's really 3mm or 13mm out, in the overall scheme of things, I'll still come back to what I said before - seriously, I don't think there's anything there to worry about.

To be honest, the fit and finish of the Ryker and Spyders are not quite proportionate to the fact they are indeed premium priced vechicles.
I saw a post on facebook where someone noticed the rear tire of the Ryker looked to be leaning slightly, sure enough many people confirmed that was the case with their bikes, and I even measured on mine, and it really was leaning slightly.
If you detail study the bike I guarentee you will also find some panel gaps not being perfect, and over time some rattle may appear from panels, air scoops, park lever etc...

With that beeing said, I totally love my Ryker, and it is by far the best purchase I've done in my life. Just dont crawl around the bike and look at the details and try to find the small cosmetic flaws. Instead hit that start button, make the rear Kenda sing the song of it's people, and enjoy the riding experience! :D

you're worried about 11 thousandths of an inch?

seriously?
Maybe if it was 1/16" I would be concerned, but you're worrying WAY too much.

ok, I'll round up to .012 ( 12 thousandths)
no biggie...stop stressing

From the limited information you have put forth on your Ryker Frame being uneven, you are Big Time making a big deal out of something so inconsequential that it is not worth worrying about.

You’d get that much variation from having a couple of quarters under one of your tires. Just my $0.50 opinion.

0.3mm ?

How can you even measure that?

I think you are unconsciously looking for problems.

Go ride and enjoy your Ryker.

C'mon everybody, give him a chance! And don't forget Rule 10 of our Forum Rules here:
