• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New 2013 RTS

First new 2013 RTS was unloaded today at Big # 1 in Birmingham. Made a deal to trade and pick it up Saturday. Can't wait hope the weather gets better before then.

You must have lots of extra funds to be buying from Big #1, with all the add on fees they charge. They were $3000, yes three thousand dollars higher on a 2012 RT-S SE5 than the dealer in Kodak, TN. Needless to say, I bought mine in Tennessee.

They started out way too high. Told them what I needed to trade and they said no. Walked out and went home. Called me later and asked when I wanted to pick it up. Oh I think they have someone wanting my trade in.

I share your excitement. I should be picking up my new 2013 RT Limited at the end of next week (black currant). I'm renting a car, one way, and driving 400 miles to pick it up & ride it back. My route will take me from Las Cruces back to Phoenix. Cool, to be sure, but hopefully not cold & freezing. The "High Adventure" should keep my blood moving around a bit and the heated grips should also help.

Got a real good deal on it and the dealer's professionalism couldn't be better. It all makes for a memorable buying experience and one for the textbooks.

Be seeing you all soon at the Spyderfest in Missouri.

:congrats: I got my 2013 yellow RTS SE5 a month ago and love it. Hope you have many Myles full of styles.

Just wondered - When you get home will you go back the next day for the 600 mile service or will you arrange that locally - if riding it to your Home is 400 miles if the 1st service is still at 600 miles it will need that in a few weeks unless they have changed the mileage for the 1st service anyway
