• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Howdy ya-all! Well, I found a new 2008 Spyder, the way I wanted it & at the monthly payment we could handle, I hope! Picked it up 3:00pm on 5-22-09. So far, 97% love it! I've beeb riding 2 wheel powered bikes for about 60 yrs., riding a spyder is a lot different than a 2 wheeler I'm here to tell you! A lot of people sat it's a lot like riding a snow mobile, atv & quad., I don't know cuz I've never been on one of these. Miuscling the spyder through the twisties trying to keep up with the young bucks on 2 wheels wears me out!, so what did ya expect from a 72yr old, old fart! I need a hand brake on the right handlebar! What was Cam-Am thinking when they made that thing with no handbrake?! Also, I keep forgetting to release the park brake! Can-Am should have made that light & alarm go off as soon as ya put it in gear! Does any one know how much trouble it is to R&R the rear wheel & install new brake pads? Give me a holler, Thanks, Studybaker Bob. [email protected] or 651-731-6832 (Minnesota)

You will eventually learn to relax a bit on the bars and let the bike work. Then us 60 year old young bucks can chase you. Welcome to the club.

welcome

P.s. My folks had a '52 bullet-nose and a '54 Champion... way ahead of its time.

4" risers installed and new hand grips makes it much, much easier to turn. It was like night and day for me. You'd be amazed. I was. welcome
