• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any SpyderLovers in northern Nevada? We are thinking of moving... nojoke :f_spider:

Looks like our closest Spyder dealer would be in Salt Lake City, Utah or Eden, Idaho. To think I have complained about having to ride 30 miles to our current dealer... :sour:

bjt, I am west of Sacramento in northern Cal, where abouts in Nevada are you looking? Can you give a city or county? There are dealers in Carson City (been to that one) and one in Reno. These are both in western Nevada.

we are about 6 hours from the Nevada state line. there is a lot of great sites to see between here and there. canyon land state park, arches state park, nine mile canyon, the reef off of hwy 70 in Utah. there is Colorado national monument in grand junction. Oh and there is moab

Elko Nevada area. Looking at possible mining industry jobs. Lord knows the auto industry (where I currently work) is in for some real tough times. We are living in some exciting times right now.

My brother-in-law works there and he says that Salt Lake City or Eden are only two or three hours away while Reno is four hours away but we will travel for the best service if necessary.

Sorry to hear of the work, Brian... hope Elko goes well for you.

Now, you will be real close to some gorgeous riding in Utah... I'm not sure about NV, though... didn't spend too much time there.

I lived in SLC for a couple of years back in the early '90s... great scenery!

Last one to leave Michigan turn out the lights.
OK! This year even I have been tempted to leave, after months of endless snow. Couldn't sell a house here if you tried, though. I guess I can catch the lights.

Plan to stay right here:
1. Born and raised here and already bought the cemetery plot.
2. House is paid for
3. Retired and don't need work
4. Two grandsons live here
5. Worked 35 years for the gas and electric company so someone has to keep the lights on so I can keep pension and health benefits

LOL I am with you, although this winter has almost broken me.
1. Born and raised here, family here for last 160 years.
2. No cemetery plot to worry about, they can fry me.
3. House also paid for, but I'd sure like a third garage.
4. Also retired, and wife works for the schools, so we needn't worry either.
5. No grandkids...maybe someday, if we live long enough.
6. I worked for water and wastewater for 39 years. After they fry me they can flush me!
I guess we'll keep you company here.

Sorry, but I got out of the midwest as fast as I possibly could. I've been in California since I was 19. Bjt, that would be cool to see you guys out this way. My high school buddy lives in Chicago and he and his wife are trying to buy a house in San Diego.... they are both sick of the weather there.

sorry to hear why your heading this way. there are some mining jobs in the montrose Colorado area. Well sorry again and if you get out this way look me up on here and we can plan a trip and tour some of Utah and Colorado there is a lot of great sites here.

I worked in the Elko/Wells area for 8 months last year. There's good riding around Elko and they have an annual bike fest. Plenty of casinos, entertainment and infrastructure, although it is still a small city. The Reno/Tahoe area also has great riding and the same for Southern/Central Utah.
