We are busy around here getting things ready to go for Daytona. While all of my gear should fit in the trunk, I figured my wife might need some more space. This type of space is not needed all the time, so I did not really want to go with permanently mounted bags. After reading some threads on this forum, and doing a little research, I decided on an option I felt would meet our needs wonderfully.
Here is the rest of the story.
I ordered these directly from the Nelson-Rigg web site, on Saturday February 13, 2010, and they arrived on Friday, February 19, in this box:
I opened the box to find the saddlebags packaged quite nicely:
The folks at Nelson-Rigg were kind enough to include a 2009 catalog, which has many more products that I might now be interested in:
The packaging also included the instructions, along with a lifetime warranty card:
When you first remove the bags from the packaging, they are squished:
This is a top view of the still squished bags and you can see the wide velcro mounting straps:
Each bag also came with its own waterproof cover:
More to follow.....
