• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need Windshield Center Bolt for 2014 RT Limited

Ten minutes into our ride today, the windshield tipped back to an almost horizontal position. Stopped to check what broke. The middle bolt that connects the shield to the arm that raises & lowers it was missing. When I got home, I called Daytona Fun Machines parts to order the missing bolt & nut. The parts man was not able to find the bolt on the schematic. I looked for it also on their web page and was not able to locate it. Does anyone have a spare bolt & nut they would like to sell? Or, can anyone give me the part number, description and schematic reference number so I can order one? Thanks for your help. Bo...

I would return to the dealer and kindly

ask them to take one off a new bike then they could order one for that bike. Their error for not catching it in pre-delivery...

YOUR NUT AND BOLT

IMHO....That nut should NEVER have come off the bolt in the FIRST place......I've had all those parts off MY 2014 RT and trust me they don't just come apart without some serious wrenching ........It was NEVER properly attached when assembled at the DEALER.......If nothing else it should be under WARRANTY.............Think of it this way ....if you lost the nut to your rear axel and that caused the axel to slide out and get lost ( which would also cause the wheel to destroy the rear of you Spyder ...would you be thinking YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for replacing these parts..........JMHO...Mike
