Need to Remove Antenna on 2021 Spyder F3 Ltd?

I want to temporarily remove the antenna on my 2021 Spyder F3 Limited. I need to put an antenna hole in a cover that I purchased. I want to remove the antenna, then install the cover, and then feel for the correct location for an antenna hole.

How can I remove the antenna from the side of the rear top cargo compartment?

Unscrew it. It will come out. I would just measure carefully, and leave it alone.

Thank you for the reply! It is very difficult to measure with the heavy elastic around the bottom of the cover.

Better yet get a shorty antenna, fits under your cover and gets very good reception!

The antenna is very difficult to turn out. I decided not to do it. Let me know if you are able to unscrew yours. Maybe include pictures/video if you do remove the antenna. Thank you!

Now that would be a nice solution if it works well, and I could remove the original antenna.
