There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Need summer glove recommendation - longer fingers

I've tried on a few gloves and in my excitement I settled on a pair I probably should have passed on. I have long fingers so XL or even 2XL gloves dont give as much room as I'd like, especially when the inside stitching takes of some of the space.

Does anyone have any recommendation for a glove that have a little extra room in the fingers than usual?

I just bought a pair of half finger, mesh gloves from Olympia. Very comfortable and with gel palms, they reduce vibration.

Coretech Vice. These are excellent gloves and provide full protection including enforced knucles in case you need to tune up a cager... JUST KIDDING!! Anyway, all kidding aside, These are great gloves. Joe Rocket Moto Boss gloves are nice too but a little pricey.

I purchased a pair of Roadgear XL gloves at Americade. Great gloves but the fingers are too long for me! I don't know if all of their gloves run this way but they may be worth taking a look at. Here is the pair I purchased >> http://www.roadgear.com/Gloves/Summer/CarbonMaxx/

Sorry, but I just don't get the fingerless glove thing? I prefer the protection of full finger gloves.

Oh .. I forgot to say; These gloves get excellent air flow.

Unfortunately, avoid the Vegans from Aerostich. They tend to be short-fingered. Otherwise, my favorite summer glove of all I've had.

I like unlined deer or elk skin in the summer. Loose fit but still has good grip....
:agree: I usually just wear deerskin work gloves. Sometimes I have to try on several pairs to find some with long enough fingers and no offending seams. They are short enough to get some air to the wrists, soak up moisture (aka sweat) well, and are relatively inexpensive if you kill them in the rain. A pair usually lasts me a couple of years, or more.

Jackets4bikes has several types of gloves and jackets(mesh, textile, leather and combos of each material). The mesh padded jacket helped save me last August(until the medics cut it off me) and I still wear the mesh/leather gloves from the accident. Why the sliced my boot laces, mesh jacket and shirts, but not the gloves...who knows. They sell on ebay, too.

Maybe scorpion cool hands or cool fingers (something like that). They seem to have long fingers, I know because I just tried on tons of gloves trying to find a pair to fit my stubby fingers and the fingers on those were longer than the rest.

I have the opposite problem. Wide hands, short fingers. I have to buy XL or 2XL and end up with about an inch left over in the tips. Maybe I could cut off my excess and send them to you as finger extenders? :joke:
Ok, maybe not. There needs to be a big and tall and a short and squatty shop for motorcycle gear.

Are we related?
