• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need some advice please

I will make one final statement. If I am wrong, then many will be very happy.

I do not see BRP making either a buy-back or an engine switch. A buy-back would be easier of course. An engine switch--IMO--would be a mechanical nightmare for most dealers, and the necessary parts to update the "old" 2013 configuration that accepted the 998 to the "new" configuration to accept the 1330 would require mods to the front end (per Bob).

Thirty days or so from now, we should have the answer, and then the fix reports should be hitting the site.

My fingers are also crossed for all of you waiting.:yes::yes:

Dave,
I'm sorry; I just don't see that as a possible outcome...
With the triple, the six-speed transmission, the dual radiators, the new gas tank and revised plumbing; you'd definitely need all-new bodywork up front too! nojoke

Not really. New 2014 frunk, remove 998 motor mounts slip in the 1330+ ECM + 2014 shocks and be on your way. The Frunks mount exactly the same way remember the 2013 frame IS the 2014 frame minus the engine. One can dream can't they?

Well got the deal done going down to PA Saturday to pick up the new bike ended up getting the 2014 Can-Am Spyder® RT-S SE6

Very nice, you will love it.

Even if the fix is massive, it will not include a 1330 engine, 6 speed trans, twin radiators.........Work a few bucks off the deal, and go for it. There is nothing they can do to compensate the hundreds of people who lost $$$$ on the 13 RT. Like ever. The 14 and up is such a better machine, there is no way to make the 13 and 14 on a equal footing. Residual value on the 13 is plummeting, and no relief in sight. Go for the new bike. You will love it, and while losing money is bad, not riding and losing more later is worse! JMHO, Joe

My 2013 RTS has twin radiators, I assumed all 2013 had them. I did buy it used, maybe it was modified.

No it does not. You have 1 radiator on the right side and 1 oil cooler on the left. The 2014 and up has a split radiator one one each side.
