• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need Riser

Hey I need advice for my 2011 RT Limited...

Just finished my second long trip on it (760 miles round trip) and need some handlebar risers to make it a tad more comfortable for me. I am 5'4"...

Advice??

P.S. The RT Limited stock seat is awesome...no sore butt for me after 6 hours in the saddle!;)

:D Getting one of these puppies raked-out enough up front for the proper "Easy Rider" stance would be a challenge... :roflblack:

Hey Doc, what was the issue you encountered that makes you want risers on the RT? I'm 5'3" and find the bars at a good height, but could use them pulled back a bit as I feel that if I try to sit all the way back in the seat (with the backrest against my lower back) that I am almost at a full stretch (short arms, I guess :dontknow:). I am thinking about installing a Utopia backrest http://www.utpr.com/spyderrt.html because not only does it look like a factory part, but it's fully adjustable and folds down to allow passengers to mount/dismount.

Closer together

I would like to see the grips closer in. I rode yesturday about 165 mi. It was rather windy, and fighting the drift was irritating. A couple gusts actually caught my arms and had me darting. Wanting some relief from tightly hanging on, I set the cruise and moved my hand position to the inside of the grips. For me it seemed easier to maintain a straight line in the wind. It took a tad-bit-more effort to hold in a long sweeping curve. After looking at the tread about the Ape-hangers, I'm thinking Buckhorn pull-backs are on my mind. Since the :spyder2:belongs to her, she needs a long vacation without it..
