There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Need P/N for black body panel just between rear foot pad & front vent/wing?

I've got a 2016 RTS and am trying to find the part number for a body panel on the left side. I've looked at online diagrams and was at the dealer last week looking at diagrams. We couldn't identify the part I need in the diagrams.

On the left side under the painted side panel is a black panel. About 2' long and 4-6" high that runs between the metal frame for the rear foot pad, above the foot peg and then goes forward and wraps underneath the cooling vent and wing.

When I bought the machine used, that panel had a crack in it and was loose. Thought I better get a replacement installed before such things are no longer available. On the diagram we were looking at, we could of course ID the painted side panels, the metal frame that the foot pad and foot peg were attached to and the other miscellaneous parts on the left side. But could not ID the black panel. It is unpainted, just raw ABS or PVC or whatever is used for the other unpainted panels on the machine. I guess if it is not obtainable, I can get hold of an ABS welder to put the two parts back together. Might look ugly though.

Thanks for any help,
Lowell

Howdy,

It's fairly common practice that where the space permits a plastic body part will have the part number and material code marked on the the rear (non-visual) side. If you can get the panel off you might find all the info you need. If you do decide to have it welded, the welder will look for the material code so he knows what material he's working with.

It's not this part here? Part 129? Don't forget to order the foam (64). Or...if it’s not this, you could post a pic.

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply. I had been trying to locate a part for my plane - got that in motion now.

Yes, the pic with the yellow arrow is pointing to the panel in question. So item #129 is the one and thanks for pointing out that I will need a #64 also.

Thanks for the help on this. The diagram the parts man at the dealership pulled up seemed not to be as clear on this. But obviously I wasn't visualizing things correctly.
