NEED HELP

ok so I have the fz1 fuze box hooked up from battery both connections with their kit I purchased, I am trying to find a good positive source to tap +12 into, I have tapped into the gas guage as I read somewhere else but the problem is how do I check and see if everything is working properly, I dont have anything to hook up right now I just was doing this for future adventures, any advice would be appreciated, or if anybody has a better tap in source please chime in, thanks

Try checking it with a test light to each fuse and a ground all should be good.

got it, had a strip of led, plus a little more patience, but thanks, sometimes a vent is all you need

The gas gauge (I am hoping you mean the gas gauge light) is far to small a circuit to feed the FZ1. At the best, it can only provide 3-5 amps or so. The FZ1 is meant to be fed directly from the battery (fused), then you feed whatever else you want off the FZ1.

yes I understand about the direct battery connect, already have that I was looking for a activating source for the fz which I ended getting from the gas guage light, thanks
