• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need help with 2013 RSS handlebar questions

OK, from what I can tell, there was a significant change in the design of the RS handlebars when BRP provided the color display and cruise control options to the RS model in year 2013 (not sure if this was also an option on 2012).

Because of this, the multiple options for risers for the RS are not an option with these newly configured handlebars. Am I right on this?

Now, what I am wondering is, can the tri-axis Rt adjustable handlebars be adapted to fit a 2013 or newer RSS?

Has anyone tried this?

You are correct. 2013 was the year for the change in handlebars. Basically all the 2013 bar setups are the same except the ST is slightly taller than the RS and the RT is slightly taller than the ST. But they all mount up the same.
Some peeps have put ST bars on their RS with no issues. I don't see any reason why RT bars and even the tri-axis bars wouldn't mount up. Wire lengths for the controls would probably be the big question.
Good luck!

The hanlebars are interchangeable on the 2013.
If you go to the DIY thread there is a video on there on doing the swap. Its from st to rs.
Thinking of doing the swap myself.

hchays put st bars on his 13 rs, perfect fit. they look really good, being black, instead of silver/grey. easy job.
