• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need chrome rear wheel & sprocket

By any wild chance would someone have a rear Rt wheel and sprocket in chrome or know where to get one very quickly. Seems the best turnaround on getting these chromed is 4-6 weeks.

Please keep in mind that they've only got two bikes in the lineup, with chrome Front wheels...

But I sure would like one also... nojoke

I would like to add a few more comments, but first let me say not bashing BRP as I would not have ordered a 2014 if I was not really impressed with the RT.

FIRST: The Limited is all chromed out, why a black rear wheel and sprocket? Reminds me of seeing a car with chrome wheels running with the spare tire. Obviously they just have the same wheel and sprocket on all the bikes. Makes sense on the other bikes that have the front wheels in black and all the chrome is brushed.
SECOND: The new heated comfort seat, the heat connects to the existing heated grip switches front and rear. I can tell you plenty of times I don't want the seat heated, just the grips. Yesterday here in Florida was a perfect example, I used the grips all day, the seat when we started out and then just grips. I will have the dealer wire it to its own switch. Not sure why they would they did it this way, the switch is not that expensive. Also, for the price should have an optional fuel door. If they offered this they would probably take some business from Corbin and Ultimate. I am having my seat person install one.
THIRD: The new backrest, no adjustment, if they are going to offer something that is offered by other companies, why not at least make it comparable particularly for what they charged for it.

Again, love my 2011 RT and sure I will love the 2014. I try and support the manufacturer by purchasing their options.

A Black rear wheel may heve been felt to do a better job of hiding brake and belt dust...
If you don't need a heated seat; don't buy one...
There's always Ultimate or Corbin if you need a backrest that adjusts...
...Not bashing...just sayin'...
