• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NEED ADVISE

I have 2 questions if anyone could help it would be appreciated.
1- Just for the heck of it I checked to oil cold today on my 2012 spyder RT SM5 and found no oil what so ever on the stick. Would this be normal or should we at least have some sign of oil. I know we need to check it got after a run but I was just intersted in what I would find.

2- What type of oil can we buy at a place like discount auto parts or Walmart that would meet the specs of the spyder. Any help from the experienced would be awesome. Thank you guys.
Sincerely Mike

Question 1: The spyder should be warmed up before checking the oil. It will show zero oil on the dipstick when cold.

Question 2: I recommend getting a quart or two from the dealer and to keep that on hand for intermediate oil fill corrections. Most places do not carry the recommend oil for the Spyder.

You're not alone, Keep reading your owners manual and familiarize it and keep your self tune to this site and will learn more like I did. Good luck and keep Spyding:yes::yes::yes::yes:

Any Motorcycle dealer will have the oil you need,
Doesn't matter if it's Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha. ETC...
But just get a extra Quart from your Cam Am dealer ,like previous mentioned.
