There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Need a solution for the 25 inch Ulta Touring Windshield

Well,

It may be Ultra... but it doesn't like the touring. Picked up my Spyder STS today with the repair on the windshield that would not stay up. They replaced both sliders. Left the dealer and came right back. No improvement. They have no idea what to do about it ... nor do I. It drops two clicks every time you hit a bump with the rear tire.
They are going to call BRP and they asked me to post on here to see if anyone had a solution. ;)

Bummer..!!

if they replaced the sliders that must not have been the problem. It has to be in the drive or locking mechanism. Seems they would have tested this before offering the larger shield...:dontknow: Hope they find the problem...

Or...
It could simply be how aerodynamics plays into the equation on the larger screen... :yikes:
The wind may be "tipping" it a little bit... just enough to move it from it's latched position...
I don't know how you could check this; perhaps a quick piece of Duct-Tape across the bottom edge?
See if that holds it n place.
Good Luck!

Hey Bob,

It is not the wind. It is a bump from the rear tire that makes it drop two clicks. Also, you have been great to me with advice. Here is some for you. I have always scratched my head about the Duct Tape myth of fixing everything. I has always failed for me. When I saw that movie with Clint Eastwood I could not take it anymore... and went online to research Duct Tape. I found a great article that read something like... "Duct tape fixes everything? Duct tape fixes nothing". It was a very scientific article comparing the longevity of duct tape to other tapes. Duct tape came in dead last. No surprise to me.
Anyhow your idea is a good temp. fix. But I will try Gorilla tape. That stuff is amazing. My mulching mower's plastic bagging shoot broke... and Snapper wanted $40 for a plastic cover. I temp. but Gorilla tape on there to stop the grass from flying out all over the place. The tape stopped the grass and lasted on the mower.... moisture, vibration and all.... all summer! Forget the Duct tape. lol
