• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My 2016 RTS has a shudder at the rear around 65-70 mph. I assume its the none provided belt tensioner:wrong:
Do you have any recommendations on getting one. Again thanks for you help here.

when you feel that vibration, just rock the throttle a little til it passes. 1/2 second and your good.

Before spending the money, you might consider getting the belt tension reset to the specs in the service bulletin that addresses belt vibration. If you are still running the oem spec, ask the tech to reset it the tension towards the lower specs provided by the bulletin.

If you have a good dealer, this may be treated as a no cost warranty claim for you.

Myself and others that run less belt tension are very happy with the new spec smoothing out the vibration we previously had.

For me, the BRP belt tensioner did the trick and was reasonably priced and easy to install.
BRP should include this item.

Any tensioner will stop (or reduce) the buzz...

But Doc's has a much more robust setup, with dual bearings in it.

Ahhhh....vibrations

It's a trial by error thing. You can move it from one speed/rpm to another, make it better or worse but the thing is it will never totally disappear. The lower tension and the tensioner is the best towards clearing it up and knowing where it is helps you not dwell at that speed or rpm. Sometimes it is just harmonics or other causes. :gaah:
