• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone help me with the wiring? Does it matter which injector connection goes to front or back injectors? One connector on the new harness has red,white & yellow wires and the other connector has red,green & tan wires.

WRONG!!!!!

It does matter big time!

After receiving and installing one of the very first Juice Boxes and reading the poor install instructions, I contacted our account rep at Two Bros.

I explaind what I had found lacking in the instructions, and he put me through to their designer. We spoke for quite some time about this and that somehow the instructions left out which injector connector is which.

He said that they were going to "update the instructions," which seems has not yet taken place. :dontknow:

The easiest way to know which connector goes to which injector is...

The longer of the two injector cables connects from the left side of the bike for the rear cylinder.

The bike will still run if hooked up backwards, but the injector timing will be off and will not feed the intake with fuel at just the proper time.

This "out of time" injection will cause the fuel to start to "puddle up" in the intake as it only stays fully atomized for a very, very breif time.

A "wet" charge like this although it will still burn, has nowhere near the power or performance of a fully atomized charge.

I have been meaning to ask this for sometime now. I know lamont got the juice box from NMN. I was just curious what the butt dyno told him and how he liked it?

Interesting. I was under the impression that the Juice Box was plug and play?

Anyone know if I would have much benefit adding it to a Spyder that already has: Hindle, o2 mod, Race airflow system & Fuel pressure mod set to 63 psi?

It is "plug and play." :clap:

But you still have to plug it in correctly! :shocked:


The added fuel pressure adds fuel all across the "map" already as the 3 ways you add more fuel to a motor are as follows.

One, increase fuel pressure (more fuel exits injectors in the same pluse time under more pressure).

Two, longer pluse width to the injectors (hold the injector open longer allowing more fuel out).

Three, increase in injector lbs. rating (size of the hole in the injector which means it will flow more fuel over the same time and pressure as a smaller hole will, this size is rated in pounds of fuel).

The added fuel pressure you already have is adding more fuel everywhere all the time.

The Juice Box adds fuel by changing the signals from the O2 sensor to the computer as it intercepts it and adding additional pluse width time to the injectors as it intercepts those signals as well.

The "math" it's program is based on uses what was stock or "normal" fuel pressures when making these changes.

So, the changes it tries to send will always not be quite correct as the "math" is wrong given the increase in fuel pressure. This increase will always cause more fuel to exit the injectors than a "normal" machine with the lower fuel pressure would have.

This will cause an endless, never to be correct hunt by the bikes ECM and the Juice Box, They will be constantly seeking a result the Juice Box is not programmed to achieve with the increase in fuel pressure. :thumbup:

Thanks for the info. So I would need to do more custom programming to the juicebox----- not something I want to get into.

Fuinny thing, I called Two Brothers last Friday to make sure and they told me that it does not matter which connector goes to which injector. Didn't make any sense to me. I trust your knowledge and input.

I have modified my harness to locate the controller on my handlebar cover, so I don't have a "short' or a "long" wire on my harness to determine front & rear injector connections anymore. What I do have is an injector connector that has red/white/yellow wires and the other injector connector has red/green/tan wires. Can you tell me by "colors" which connector is the front & which one is the rear?

Well, I think I found my answer. One of Lamonster's photos shows the rear injector connection having the red/green/tan (gray) wires. This is how mine is currently wired. I assume this is correct, as Lamonster is the man.
