• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm thing on buying a vented windshield from BRP. They offer a 23" and a 25", how much bigger is the 23" compared to a stock windshield, also any suggestions which one to buy?
The BRP online store has the 2013 RT vented windshield, will I fit my 2012 RT?

The stock windshield: I believe, is 25" on any RT since the 2010 model year...
I guess that it kind of depends on just how tall in the saddle you are... ;)
I'm going to get a 25" vented shield to replace the 27" barn door that they hung in front of me on my 2010...
It'll be tall enough to be extended fully so that I can tuck down behind it, yet when retracted, I'll be comfortably looking ove the top of it...

Don,t be so sure your going to see over the 25" windshield unless your Quite Tall.
I Cut my stock 2012 windshield down to 20 " to see WELL over it but through it in the up position and I,m 6,0 with a 31 Inseam.
I cut my Large CalSci which was 23 1/2 " down to 21 " so I could see over it about 30 Yards down the road and its about an inch above my head in the up position.
The Cut Down Stock one (5 inches) seemed to get BETTER Mileage the 2 times I rode it and vibrated a LOT less than the 25" stock.
This summer I will use the Cut down stock and Take Off the Side Wind deflectors all together and Literally Fly off into space??:roflblack:
:roflblack::roflblack:

I'm about average height... (5'10" with a 31" inseam), and when I sat on a 2012 RT I had no trouble seeing over it... :shocked:

I have the biggest windshield offered for my 2010, & I'd buy a taller one, if I could. I'm 6'4" w/32" inseam, and can see well over the top of the windshield at full up positioning.
