• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need a Destination

Next week planning a 2 day run leave home 6 am return by 11p.m next day, leaving from east central Iowa need a destination 800 to 1200 miles away. Been north along mississippi want a south, east, or west destination. Any suggestions appreciated I'll be flyin' solo and miles and scenery are key.
Thanks Jim

Take a map, draw a circle, throw a dart (or toss a penny), ride there. The thrill of the ride, and the discovery of the road are all you really need. A destination is only where you lay your head for the night.

Thanks Scott never thought of it that way I'll do a 1\2 circle and may be my travel will go through St. Louis:pray:

Usually I just use the random thing to select a general direction. Then I look at the map and see what interesting towns, roads, or attractions there may be, and do some final adjustments. I usually neglect to look at the map on my tank bag, though (no gps for geezers), and often end up lost anyway. :) It is just as much fun!

Souix City to my house is right at 1200 miles. Just a days ride. :D

I'd do that but your area sounds like a speed trap (just Kiddin') thinking weds of this week or depending on work it'll be next week on weds. I'm thinkin San Antonio its 1100 mi we'll see:read:

Yes Tiffin to be exact. There's a few :spyder:in Solon now. Only 2 in Tiffin I know of:spyder:

No kidding?!?! I haven't seen any around here yet, other then one pulling into IRP in Coralville a while back. I used to live in Tiffin on Kimberlite St.
I'm glad to hear there are Spyder's in the area, where would you recommend purchasing one as I'm still on two wheels? Feel free to PM!
