I bought a set of Lamont's NBV peg mounts for the RT. His 20° angle bracket just didn't feel comfortable for my feet, so I made a change.
I made a pair of extensions 2 1/2" between holes and then twisted them to between 35° and 40°, one left and one right. Here's a pic.

I bolted them to the NBV bracket straight up and attached Kuryakyn small round pegs.

As you can see in these two pics the benefit of the increased angle is the peg is very nearly perpendicular to my leg and foot.

The downside to these extensions is that they can't be rotated to a different position for two reasons. With only 2 1/2" between holes the peg is snug against the shield, and if you rotate them then the angle of the peg changes relative to the centerline of the bike. A longer extension will allow some adjustment, if you can live with the change in peg angle. I removed the inner part of the shield to give more room for the brackets. I may eventually reinstall them and cut out a space for Lamont's brackets to fit more easily. I still need to put on the bolt caps to finish things up.
Now all I have to do is install a heat block on the right side. The air from the radiator is HOT!
