• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello all, here is a video of my new waterproof, bluetooth GPS unit installed on my 2012 SE. I bought it on Amazon for $160. Tell me what you think.

Here is the unit listed on amazon

I was eyeballing those. It's a peaklife GPS. There is a couple forums that talk about it and the previous model on ADVrider.
Only thing I didn't like is it doesn't come with maps and you have to buy them or "steal" them from the web.
But you do get a few options on maps and all kinds of software developed for it like a menu system to switch maps and map programs, etc.

One thing though, you said it has Android? The add says Window CE and so did the ADVrider forum?
Unless this is not the same unit?

In the end I went with a used Garmin 775T for $80 with lifetime traffic.

Nice to see someone trying the Peaklife on a spyder. Let us know how it goes.

It's pretty loud. Loud as any other I've had. If you have a Sena bluetooth helmet unit, it works with that too.

So here's my question. Since it's a GPS, why does it show a picture of a girl in a bikini squeezing her boobs together?? Maybe it should be called a Squeeze N Go.
