• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nation of Patriots

Hope I am posting this on the correct board. There seem to be a lot of veterans here on Spyderlovers. Don't know if anyone has heard of the Nation of Patriots event called "Passing the Flag". An American flag is making a trip through the lower 48 states by motorcycle transfer only. It is a fund raiser for wounded warriors. Most but not all of the stops are at Harley Davidson dealerships but I know that anyone is welcome. This is done by a group with the site http://nationofpatriots.org/. All monies raised at the local stops stays in the local area to be distributed to veterans who need it. No funds get sent to some central group, so you know where the money goes. Tomorrow (7/5/13), the flag comes in from Mississippi and will stay overnight in Baton Rouge. Saturday (7/6/13), we will have a big shindig to honor local veterans and then escort the flag to Lafayette, La then on up to Alexandria, La. From there it goes on to Arkansas and rest of the country. If anyone gets the chance, it is a good ride and a way to show local veterans how you really feel. Last year we raised just over $5,000.00 and distributed it to needy vets. in the local area. Just wanted to let people know about this ride and didn't see anything about it on the site. These people deserve all the support that we can give them.

I participated in this ride from Brunswick, GA to Jacksonville, FL on Monday. I saw a video of the ride from Savannah to Brunswick and I think I saw 4 Spyders on that leg.

I met a lot of great folks and was honored to support the cause
