• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mystery Trike Spotted: BMW? KTM? Can-Am? You Decide!

Wow...... THAT'S the article that sold the Spyder to me....... reading that they used weight belts on the passenger made me think about the amount of research they were putting into it........ I was surprised at the price and even more surprised when I finally heard of all the other little 'gizmos' they added.....

So I bought one....... and one day........ I'll actually get to have it! LOL

Lot's of visual clues that it is a Spyder.
Yes. No doubt about that. Look at the dates of the submissions below (all in 2006). This was one of the pre-production Spyders. Looks good in black too!

:agree:
that is without a doubt the Spyder!!! The ad is from December of 2006!
The accent the guy had must have been French Canadian!

I hope no one REALLY thought I was serious when I said it's a BMW......of course it's a Spyder. That goes without saying !

I understood the accent was German, that's why they thought it was from BMW. The accent could have been German since Bosch worked on the stability program OR Austrian since its a Rotax motor. I believe the report said the guys that were testing it had a laptop set up and plugged in so I would guess they were from Bosch or Rotax.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

I said it first!

So now what do i win? ;D

Same here, matusky. This is the first article I saw at a computer tech site I frequent. Nobody knew what it was. I was mesmerized by it and a few days later the mystery was solved.
