My trick to get that Pesky Ryker air filter screw back in...
You all know the one.
The one at the bottom for the CVT air filter, the one buried under the air box.
Put in K&N air filters in the Ryker the other day - Motor side, only took a few minutes. Got to the CVT side, where all the videos say to take the bottom screw out first. Got all five screws out; changed the filter; got the four top screws back in... Then tried to get that bottom screw in. :gaah:
No matter what I did, I could not get the screw and socket on the hole at the same time! :gaah: LOL. Then I remembered the wife has some thin two-sided craft tape. I put a thin strip of d/s tape across the head of the screw, fit the socket over that so it stayed on the socket; and a minute later, all sorted, life is good!
Had a good laugh afterwards.
