• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder ST has two OBD ports 6-pins. One is plugged into the hole, the other is a cap. Anyone know what the difference is between them?

I can't speak to the ST but 1330cc Spyder has two diagnostic link connectors -- DLC1 for BUDS and DLC2 for Rotax. DLC1 is a Deutsch DT6 with five pins populated.

While the Spyder uses CANBUS messaging extensively, it's use of OBD is limited to non-standard PIDs proprietary to Bosch. So while you can see the DLC1 messages with a CANBUS sniffer, decoding them requires BUDS or the patience to link cause to effect.

My 2013 Spyder ST the one plugged in the hole is the BUDS connector for hooking up to the software on the computer, no clue what the other is for
