I attended Spyderfest in Magog last weekend and much like everyone else commented so far I was also impressed with the overall organization of the event.
I could only spend a few hours there (arriving late and leaving early) but at least I was able to take part in the parade and Lil Pumpkin contributed to the establishing the record :firstplace::yes:
I met many members of this forum and that was a real treat - just wish I had more time to meet more Spyderlovers.
On the down side Pumpkin did not like the stop and go traffic during the parade and she let me know ! I had to pull over just before reaching the entrance to be counted back in for the record. I saw lights on the display unit I didn't know existed :yikes:. I re-started her after 10 minutes while the other Spyders were still returning to the starting point and was able to get her back in to be counted. She didn't go into limp mode but I had to let her cool off for an hour before she started to behave again. She was fine for the 5 hour return trip home and did not act up since :2thumbs:.
I created an album with some pictures taken at the event instead of adding them to this post - I have 3 video clips I can't seem to add though - I'll figure that out and add them later.
Spyderfest 2010
I am only adding one picture here - it is Spyderpops and his son (Harvey and Aaron). Not only was Spyderpops registered as #406 making him the record breaker :2thumbs: but he also won :firstplace: for having traveled the greatest distance to attend the event. Congrats !
