• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder T Tops

Well, that is what I call it. I wanted to be able to easily attach\detach my Blue Ridge windshield, much like on the old 1980's Camaros with there T Tops.

The stock nuts\bolts use a tool to remove the windshield. So the aim was to find a tool less alternative. I found these license plate holders that have a reflective head. When not using the windshield, I will wrap it in bubble wrap.

So far so good, I had my bike up to 60 mph and I noticed no extra vibration and the holders did not come loose. Since I used wing nuts on the other side, I can always tell if one is in danger of giving away.

I will run with this for a while, if there are any undesirable side affects I will let you know.

:congrats: on letting necessity; once again give rise to "The Mother of Invention"!
Now; you can ride topless whenever the mood strikes.
 That didn't sound too good; did it? :D

Not sure about blue reflector front. I really like toolless alternative though.
Stylistically, maybe a dip in some black paint would be nice.

Nicely done..!!

Congrats on a successful alternative. Those come in all colors so you have options. From the reflection on your frunk lid it looks like a good day for a ryde...

Yes, I am not too happy with the blue reflectors, but that is what I had on hand. I wanted to test the concept. License plate bolts come in thousands of colors and styles. I will look around.
