• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New 2014 Honda CB500F... picked her up Saturday. Intent is to replace my 2007 Ninja 250 once I can move that bike on Craigslist (GF isn't happy there are now THREE bikes in the driveway... I told her I can't help it, they keep following me home! :joke:).

Anyway, I've been surprised at how much I enjoy two-wheels. DEFINITELY not enough to ever give up Spyders, but I love having both options for whenever the fancy strikes me. Variety is indeed the spice of life! (Again-- don't tell my GF that :p).

Congratulations..!!

sweet ride..:2thumbs: it is fun having both and you can pick and choose. On the other hand I don't need any more confusion in my life..:roflblack: enjoy both and be safe...

 They are a REAL nice-looking alternative to Kawi's Ninja 5... :2thumbs:
Ifhad a left ankle that worked better; I'd be lobbying for one of those to fill unused garage space! :D

It's been a real eye-opener in comparison to my Old Crappy Ninja (TM). It just *works*-- fuel-injected, quiet as a whisper, torquey and smooth as butter. I know the new Honda 500s and the 700 get dinged by reviewers who call them soulless and boring-- Honda motorcycles, brought to you by the makers of the Civic and the Accord!-- but there's something to be said for predictable competency in a bike. If I want crazy, I've got the Spyder to make me crazy.

The only thing I don't like about it is the suspension needs upgrading, but all stock suspensions do. Saving my pennies, always saving those pennies...
