My service dog does NOT like my Spyder

And he didn't like my URAL either. Both for the same reason: they don't lean! When you're riding on the back of a motorcycle it leans and you lean with it and staying on is no problem. When you ride in a sidecar or on the back of a trike and you corner, it tries to throw you off. I have'nt figured a way yet to train him to lean into the turns. He's been riding on the back of my Harley for eight years!

What kind of service does your dog perform? Hope the dog does not fall off someday and gets hurt.

I wonder if a back rest on your spyder and wider seat (foam covered plywood?) would help your dog support himself when cornering.

Jack Russell Terrier that rides with me. I put a secure harness on her and Guy her off to the passenger handles with very short lanyards
works great. She also wears Doggles.

That's my plan. But the real problem is teaching him to lean. On the bikes, they did the leaning for him!

Neurological service dog. He's been riding for eight years and fell off on his first ride and decided staying on is a better plan.

That would work with the Spyder, and might be the answer, but certainly did NOT on the motorcycles. I got run off the road and he fell off and was drug by the guy!
